We are looking for an experienced Facility, Environmental, Health and Safety (FEHS) Manager with potential to become the future leader of a facility organization. The manager will establish the foundation for the future FEHS operation implementing relevant processes and systems.
The FEHS Manager is a member of the local management team of Coloplast Manufacturing Portugal. For the first 1-2 years the manager will work closely with the construction team and represent site management on a day-to-day basis in the construction project of the new manufacturing plant. After the first 1-2 years the manager will transition gradually into managing the FEHS department.
O que terás de fazer
- Act as the representative of the local site management during the construction working closely with the Director of Construction, Procurement, other project managers and stakeholders throughout the Coloplast organization;
- Ensure - in collaboration with project managers and owners - that facility projects are scoped to the requirements of the operation and delivered within scope, on time and on budget;
- Implement FEHS processes, systems and documentation needed during operations;
- Implement processes, systems and documentation that specifically support the sustainability ambitions of Coloplast including implementing waste re-cycling and providing data for sustainability reporting;
- Making sure that the buildings and their services meet the needs of the operations, from EHS, security and usability aspects, in compliance with the local regulations;
- Accountable for maintaining and developing a safe work environment and services such as building maintenance, cleaning, security and parking, and to ensure the proper conditions for a high-quality work environment;
- Run and be involved in several projects that are needed to start-up the facility;
- Create and maintain a system to prevent accidents and implement necessary safety measures based on this;
- Follow-up on incidents, accidents, investigate the root cause and implement corrective actions;
- Ensure to comply with and be responsible for enforcing work safety, fire safety and other corporate regulations;
- Drive the creation of a safety culture within the company;
- Ensure continuous inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of buildings and facility utilities;
- Develop maintenance budgets and timelines, direct maintenance projects;
- Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, facility maintenance and security;
- Ensure energy efficiency and drive sustainability related activities and improvements.
O que precisas de garantir
- Relevant degree in Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles that include building maintenance management and EHS in industrial environment;
- Knowledge of and preferable experience in Project Management;
- Reading and understanding of blueprints and drawings;
- Good knowledge of relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, Power BI);
- Available to international travel during the construction and start-up phase;
- High level proficiency in oral and written English.
