The Serial Blades Department within Blade department is responsible for Blade Certification Process, Full-Scale testing and Blade support on factories and in field worldwide. They are involved in the new Blade development as well on support of the existing fleet.

- In Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy they developed the world’s most successful Wind Turbines platforms and are extremely proud of contributing with future sustainable energy solutions. You will be doing this by supporting the team on the assurance of the integrity of the structural requirements of the Wind Blade.
- Your key responsibilities will be:
- Analyze and give technical solutions for Wind Blades manufacturing deviations, damaged during transport or during field operations to assure that the product keeps its original structural requirements.
- Structural analysis of Wind Blade due to manufacturing deviations;
- Structural analysis of Wind Blade damages during transport and in field operations;
- Elaborate structural repairs solutions methods for Wind Blades;
- Develop and validate new techniques for Wind Blade repairs;
- Development of the failure mode analysis (D-FMEA) and 8Ds for the Wind Blades.
competências
- Bachelor / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines (Aerospace Engineering, Naval Engineering, etc.);
- Composite design and composite structural mechanics;
- Composite structural analysis with ANSYS and ABAQUS.
- Competencies:
- Self-driven with high accountability;
- Willingness to learn and to develop knowledge proactively;
- Availability to travel to Wind Blades factories and Wind farms;
- Willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Following skills would be a plus:
- Experience in leading technology projects;
- Experience with Siemens NX/Fibersim and CATIA V5/CPD;
- Besides this you should have good people and communication skills and it is mandatory that you are fluent in English both orally and in writing.
