Main responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the Regional Purchasing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Controlling this Director’s supplier base, based on guidance given by his Manager and optimizing purchases within his scope, meeting defined QCD targets, in agreement with the rules of the company;
- Set objectives (and in some situations, Actions Plan) will be validated by his hierarchical manager after consultation of the entity concerned (choice of resources, subjects, etc...);
- Ensure routine purchases of its portfolio (consultation, negotiation, business follow-up...) to meet the objectives;
- Analyze his/her market and suggest innovative solutions to his/her hierarchical or the concerned Commodity Lead Buyer;
- Consolidate purchasing needs and anticipate their evolution;
- May be required to coordinate in a functional position (working group on a specific subject);
- Provide reporting based on defined terms;
- Conduct annual negotiations (different from those managed by the Commodity Lead Buyer or the Purchasing Manager);
- Manage the Quality, Cost, Delivery, Panel performance of her/his perimeter.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Minimum of 3/4 years experience in purchasing in the manufacturing sector;
- Good relationship skills, listening skills, autonomous, analytical and concise, persuasive, interpersonal skills;
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office;
- Fluency in English, additional knowledge of other languages is considered a plus;
- Comprehensive knowledge of the various specialties involved in the process of “supplies control” (logistics, accounting, quality, project) is desirable.
- Knowledge of current regulations;
- Ability to use basic purchasing techniques (monitoring business, negotiation, consultation).
