R&D Product Electronics Engineer - Amarante

We are currently hiring an R&D Product Electronics Engineer  for a company with a large activity scope.

O que terás de fazer

Communicate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyse the technical requirements, translate technical requirements to design requirements and develop architecture of the proposed hardware solutions;

Specify design concept and define electronic constraints in collaboration with the engineering team to take into account other technical field constraints in the electronic design to ensure proper operation of the final product;

Design & development of complex layouts of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards (using CAE and CAD applications & tools);

Development of complex layouts as per our project development process, participating in weekly meetings, preparing test plan for electronics solution for product & process validation, with a focus on production tools for testing;

Plan and execute board bring-up, engineering validation testing and design changes to resolve problems, to ensure final products conformity to design requirements related to performance, reliability, and cost;

Coordination of prototype production and evaluation of industrial production approach with internal and external partners, ensuring electronic hardware meets best-in-class standards and applicable regulations.

O que precisas de garantir

Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent;

More of 5 years successful experience in the development of complex electronic hardware device architecture;

Strong background in Electronics industrial design, including digital and analog circuit design, PCB design (PCBs, Flex PCBs, wiring), including component selection, schematic, layout, and production of electronic assemblies;

Experience in embedded systems: micro controller programming and knowledge in firmware and software development is a plus.
