We are currently hiring an Head of Procurement Cable Assembly  for a company with a large activity scope.

O que terás de fazer

Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and services to meet the company's production and operational needs;

Lead the procurement team, to guarantee quick confirmation to customers, effective lead-times and on time deliveries;

Rationalize the panel of suppliers;

Manage and optimize inventories, obsolescence risks and related working capital;

Define, develop and implement worldclass KPIs to monitor and report on suppliers performance, implement escalation and corrective actions process;

Oversee the supply chain and logistics functions to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials;

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms;

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships;

Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies;

Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement decisions align with the company's overall strategy;

Enforce within the company the use of preferred suppliers;

Evaluation and mitigate possible risks of supply chain disruption;

Manage and mentor the procurement team to ensure they are able to meet the company's objectives;

Identify cost savings opportunities and implement tactics to reduce costs.

O que precisas de garantir

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement or related field;

Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 10 years in a leadership role;

Strong negotiation and communication skills;

Experience in electronic or cable assembly industry preferred;

Knowledge of procurement processes, laws, and regulations;

Strong leadership and management skills;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel.
