What you will do:• Design & Analysis: Create and refine mechanical systems and components with a focus on functionality, durability, and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Partner with customers, operations teams, and other departments to ensure the successful development and delivery of products.
• Testing & Evaluation: Conduct tests to validate design decisions, ensuring product performance and quality standards are met.
• Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, addressing challenges and driving solutions.
Your background:
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required.
• Preference for Industrial area: Prior experience in machine tools, automation, manufacturing, or product development is preferred. Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) and quality control processes will also be advantageous.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex systems, identify design flaws, and implement innovative solutions to improve product performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Testing & Evaluation Expertise: Taste in prototyping, testing, and validating designs to ensure they meet performance and safety standards. Familiarity with design validation methods like stress testing, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis is essential.
• Fluent in English (Spanish, French, or German is a plus!)
