Responsibilities:
Set up and facilitate the Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings
Schedule and follow the key steps of the methodology
Guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the squad face any obstacles
Support the members of the squad in her/his work by facilitating a healthy dynamic within the squad, paying special attention to respect priorities and scope.
Leads the squad's efforts towards continuous improvement.
Removes barriers or helps the squad remove barriers(contact with the right people). The Scrum Master solves the problems proactively so that the squad can stay focused on their goals.
Assist and support the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information. She/he also protects the squad from influxes unexpected work costs.
Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Fluency in English
French and/or Dutch (preferred).
Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Rally, Jira)
Experience with an infrastructure environment is welcome
Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
