Our client is a art factory which will produce EV cables and components for Intramco Europe and is looking for a Process Engineer to help to build ambicious project.responsabilidades chave
Responsible for having a strategic oversight and design input to processes in manufacturingand will be the person to initiate and drive process improvement within the factory.
? Develop new and improve the current manufacturing processes;
? Find ways and propose improvement measures to increase productivity, improve quality, eliminating wastes and non-value-added activities, increasing overall efficiency, ensuring the health and safety at workplace;
? Responsible for maintaining and providing up-to-date procedures, and improving them where
considered necessary;
? Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production;
? Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations;
? Create and update working instructions;
? Design jigs and fixtures and develop necessary tools for production lines;
? Design and plan equipment layout;
? Analyze and monitor the process performance throughout production;
? Support in troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes;
? Estimate production costs and propose cost-saving measures;
? Cooperate with other departments to select, subscribe and run new equipment according to production demand;
? Develop and compile equipment documentation, and perform technical training for the production team;
? Support in the installation of new production lines and equipment and of layout changes, including mechanical, electrical, and fluid connections;
? Cooperate with 6S and safety improvement;
? Other work assigned by the supervisor
competências
BS degree in Engineering or above, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical engineering;Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in automotive sector;
Proven work experience in process engineering with good knowledge of QC tools, MTM techniques and Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools;
Ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment failures;
Knowledge of process related standards;
Familiar with ISO9001&IATF16949 quality management systems and ISO14001/ISO 45001 systems is preferred;
Familiar with electronic, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, as well as computer-controlled systems (PLC, HMI) and tools, machining drawings;
Analytical thinker well-organized with interpersonal skills;
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD /Solid works software and MS Office suit;
Good communication skills in Portuguese and English language.
