SSC Finance Director - Porto

We are currently hiring a Finance Director for a Shared Service Center of a multinational company, listed on the stock market, from the energy sector.

O que terás de fazer

- Responsible for creating and developing a high-performance and continuous improvement culture in the Shared Service Center;

- Determine center practices and standardize processes to increase efficiency and savings.

- Overseeing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Financial Accounting/ GL teams;

- An in-depth understanding of a solid understanding of core finance transactional process - Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and Record to Report;

- Monitoring performance against KPI's and acting swiftly to oversee the achievement of agreed targets;

- Driving process improvements and enhancing technology changes;

- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures;

- Ensuring any internal or external audit requirements are met;

- Improving communication and understanding across the business on transactional processes;

- Ensuring Finance as a department with an excellent reputation with the wider business;

- Research and implement cost-effective solutions for center sustainability.

O que precisas de garantir

- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, or any other related field;

- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles in multinational companies;

- At least 5 years of experience in the field of taxation and finance;

- Experience in the creation of a shared service center is a plus;

- Experience in Controlling is a plus;

- Experience with ERP systems (experience with the implementation is a plus);

- English language, mandatory;
