Randstad shared service center team was challenged by the global leader in the iron ore industry to search for the best possible talent for a senior community advisor.

You'll be challenged to do your best in the following functions:
• Comply with Exploration Code of Practice as required to meet or exceed Community expectations:
- by completing and upholding community consultation strategy documents for each new exploration activity, including
- engaging with relevant community stakeholders such as local landholders neighbouring the activity, interest groups, local aboriginal lands council and local government and
- completing an annual community consultation report for each exploration licence managed by the company
• Manage the Community Consultation Register by continually updating all communications occurring between stakeholders and the company's employees and contractors until the Infoscope database is available and supersedes the register.
• Manage the Landholder Property GIS files by ensuring that there is always an updated working copy.
• Effectively manage any community issues notified through the community mobile phone and/or email address
• Identify opportunities to engage with aboriginal businesses as preferred providers where possible.
• Ensure any charitable donations support and enhance community groups, organisations and infrastructure which provide a sustainable foundation for the communities in which we operate, in accordance with the company's values.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement activities and identify improvement areas.
• Proactively identify potentially contentious community issues, provide advice for effectively managing issues and escalate to management as appropriate.
• Track project communication activities and report on progress each month

Competências:

what you need to apply:

- Bachelors Degree with emphasis in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in communications, marketing or community engagement
- Bilingual English - Portuguese;
- Ability to communicate and interact on all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work across organization with all stakeholders and to foster positive working relationships
- Results oriented and customer focused
- Positive workplace attitude
- Engages well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience
