We are looking for an Senior Accountant fluent in English for a client in Moreira da Maia. Are you interested? Apply now! The purpose of the role is to: Ensure, together with the Team Leader, the fulfilment of all reporting activities in line with local and group deadlines; Perform period end activities, in collaboration with SSC and the Local Plant Controller; Perform inventory accounting and post adjustments; Process fixed asset accounting, including creation, additions, depreciation, disposals and transfers; Intercompany accounting; Balance sheet reconciliation and account maintenance; Review the Monthly Accounting Closing within the reporting deadlines to the Group and in cooperation with the SPoC. ? Fluent in English and Portuguese; ? Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or similar; ? +5 years experience in Accounting (Accounts Payable & General Ledger); ? Chartered Accountant (desirable); ? International accounting experience; ? Experience in SAP (valued); ? Results-oriented, with ability to identify issues and follow through with efficient, effective solutions.
