Job Description:
Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Scientist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team within the Connected Things (Cyber-physical systems) Group, namely in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. It is expected that the candidate will contribute to the business area of Digital Health.
Your role:
- Document and maintain software requirements;
- Document, execute and maintain test cases based on requirements;
- Develop and maintain UI tests;
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Mandatory Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent academic qualification in Informatics, Bioengineering, and Computing Engineering or similar;
- Professional Experience: Preferably 1 year of professional experience in the field.
- Technical Skills:
- Candidates should have experience in software engineering and testing. Experience in developing automated tests for mobile or web applications is highly regarded. The candidate will work in close contact with software development, so experience within this field will be highly valued.
- Other Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills (technical and general audiences);
- Capacity to translate research findings into actionable insights for real-world applications.
- Experience with test case management tools, such as TestRail or similar;
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or similar;
- Candidates experienced in automating tests of Flutter and/or Java (Spring Boot) applications using mocking tools such as Mockito or similar is highly valued;
- Experience with Quality Management System maintenance or auditing, according to standards such as ISO 13485:2016 or ISO 9001:2015, is valued.
