We are recruiting a Power Electronics Engineer for a Remote Operations & Maintenance Engineering Department for one of our clients.

O que terás de fazer

- Provide fast assessment on main equipment faults root cause (inverters and other devices);

- Serve as technical liaison with repair providers to ensure the best and most fit to purpose service to end customers;

- Carry out on-site technical assessments, if required;

- Analyze support requests and decide the best approach and follow-up;

- Manage the relation with the Service Providers at the technical level;

- Provide technical reports and evidences to support claiming processes, if required;

- Contribute to the development of reliability studies and failures analysis regarding inverters and other devices.

O que precisas de garantir

- Degree or master’s in electrical, electronic or automation engineering;

- Experience in inverter or similar devices repairs, from the manufacturer perspective (mandatory);

- Experience in handling suppliers from a technical perspective;

- Experience in electronics and automation fault detection techniques and troubleshooting;

- Experience in commissioning PV, wind, biomass, or hydro power plants (preferred);

- Experience in PV, wind, biomass, or hydro power plants maintenance (preferred);

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and reporting software;

- English fluency is mandatory;

- Availability to travel abroad for limited periods.
