We are currently hiring an Environment and Safety Coordinator for a company with a large activity scope.

O que terás de fazer

- Develop and implement policies, programs, and procedures for safety, health, and the environment;

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, automotive customer regulatory standards and applicable legislation regarding safety and the environment;

- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards;

- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures;

- Organize and conduct training and information sessions for employees on safe work practices and environmental procedures;

- Manage waste management programs, conservation of natural resources, and reduction of environmental impacts;

- Maintain accurate records and reports of compliance with applicable legislation.

O que precisas de garantir

- Academic background in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety Engineering, or related fields;

- Proven experience in similar roles;

- Deep knowledge of safety and environmental legislation.

- Ability to engage and motivate teams, promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness;

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders;

- CAP (Certificate of Aptitude Professional) of Technician Superior in Safety and Hygiene at Work, level VI, at a minimum;

- Experience on automotive industry (preferential).
