responsabilidades chave
Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of backend services ensuring high performance, solid reliability, and seamless scalability towards a data-centric roadtrip platform..Foster a culture of code quality, testing, and performance tuning among the backend team.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align backend services with business objectives and front-end development.
Lead the transition of Indie’s platform towards a modern backend stack, exploring and integrating technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and other AWS services to enhance our deployment and scaling capabilities.
Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability, ensuring the excellence and stability of our platform’s backend infrastructure.
Mentor and develop your team, fostering an environment of growth, accountability, and innovation.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements, translating them into actionable engineering tasks and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
competências
7+ years of experience in product development.Previous experience managing teams (Mandatory)
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
Hands-on experience with programming in Ruby on Rails (mandatory), Node.js, and other languages like Typescript or Java will be a plus.
Deep understanding of the core concepts of networking, security, distributed systems, and large-scale event-driven platforms
Bonus for experience in large scale online stores, payment systems or financial transactions
Experience with REST API's.
Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and SNS/SQS.
Experience with Microservices and building them from scratch.
Capability to integrate and optimize databases like Postgres and Redis.
Understanding the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices architecture, event-driven, and CQRS pattern.
