We are recruiting a Data Engineer for a multinational company on the Energy Sector.

- Design and develop robust data pipelines and architectures to facilitate efficient data processing, transformation, and loading;

- Implement scalable and reliable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems;

- Optimize data workflows and processes for high performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring data integrity and consistency;

- Develop business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using tools like Power BI, to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes;

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and integrate data solutions effectively within the organization's infrastructure;

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements in all data-related activities;

- Continuously monitor and evaluate data processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness;

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, ETL, data integration, business intelligence, and reporting domains, incorporating new technologies and best practices into data solutions where applicable.

O que precisas de garantir

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field;

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in roles such as Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Data Integration Engineer, Business Intelligence Developer, or Data Analyst with a focus on ETL and reporting;

- Strong proficiency in database technologies, ETL tools, and data integration platforms, including but not limited to SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Talend, Informatica, or similar;

- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines and ETL workflows to support data-driven decision-making;

- Expertise in data modeling techniques and methodologies, with a solid understanding of dimensional modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts;

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience in implementing data solutions in cloud environments;

- Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, to create insightful reports and dashboards;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights;

- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD);

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work closely with cross-functional teams;

- Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering, ETL, data integration, and business intelligence domains.
