We are currently hiring an Accounting Team Leader for a multinational company.

O que terás de fazer

•Manage a team of accountants allocated to a scope of Countries being responsible for the GL;

•Be responsible to submit companies’ Financial statements on HFM, on a monthly basis, assuring the IFRS harmonization for the group Accounts;

•Manages specific technical operations: liquidation or merge of company, tax optimization, knowledge of equity’s operation, open Permanent Establishments or subsidiaries;

•Be responsible for Tax Computation and Returns: VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax, WHT, Local Tax (CVAE, Paye, CIS,CET) are done and loaded on a proper manner following local requisites;

•Preparation of annual accounts for all the legal entities of the country in both local and group GAAP;

•Be responsible for the Local COA for All scope of Countries and assure that works with Group COA;

•Liaise with the AP´s department by a smooth incorporation of different geographies/companies of the group on the system;

•Manage IFRS 16 using a proper company system feeding it on a regular basis;

•Assure that the corporate secretary is updated as the minutes of the Annual General Assembly for the following decisions: approval of the yearly financial statements, change of the auditors and others.

O que precisas de garantir

• Master’s degree in accounting;

• At least 5 years of experience as Accounting/Consolidation Responsible;

• English proficiency (mandatory);

• Good knowledge of HFM or other consolidation tool;

• Strong Knowledge of IFRS, specifically Asset, FX, Investments and shares, Financing;

• Experience on more than one Country accounting policies;
