We are currently searching for a Fraud Analyst (m/f).
Competências:
-Degree in Accounting or in Management;-Certified Public Accountant (mandatory);
-Minimum of 5 years experience as a Tax Accountant;
-Computer literacy (especially good knowledge of Excel);
-Capability to work with different accounting systems;
-Knowledge of Portuguese tax compliance rules and procedures, as well as knowledge on the analysis and research of international tax rules;
-Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
-Proficiency in MS Office.
Principais responsabilidades
-Manage the preparation of complex / high volume Tax declarations (Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Taxes, etc.);-Prepare tax statements and calculations Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions;
-Prepare accurate and timely tax reports according with tax deadlines;
-Assist the tax team on all the necessary internal procedures concerning vendors (purchase orders, vendor forms);
-Participate in the month end closing reports by providing accurate and timely tax/accountant data;
-Prepare and control monthly accruals in order to provide an accurate image of the company's current financial condition;
-Prepare monthly VAT reconciliations and work closely with the accounting team to ensure the accounts reflects the accurate VAT position and accruals;
-Sign off Statutory Accounts and IES in Portugal in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted;
-Prepare financial statistical information to submit to legal/tax Authorities in several countries;
-Assist with financial audits and other ad-hoc external request, interacting with internal and external auditors, to provide the necessary financial records and information.
