our client makes it easy for everyone to build healthy habits and eat more fruit and vegetables by creating innovative products that are highly nutritious, sustainable and delicious.we are seeking for an experienced sourcing and purchasing associate that will report to the area manager and be part of a knowledgeable, committed and collaborative team.
responsabilidades chave
- opportunity to participate in new product development and build fruitful relationships with suppliers;
- guarantee stock control and maintain records of goods ordered and received, as also validate invoices from suppliers;
- support the sourcing and purchasing manager with bulk samples for R&D;
- prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment;
- analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability;
- participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials;
- resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers;
- lead purchase open orders status meetings with suppliers
- administer purchasing systems.
competências
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role;
- high knowledge of supplier management;
- understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations;
- experience in reporting on key procurement metrics;
- proficient in MS Office/Google Tools and ERP software;
- outstanding communication ability;
- attention to detail;
- strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach;
- english proficiency is mandatory.
