Software Engineer - Lisboa

We are looking for a Software Engineer who is open to the challenge of building a new software platform, in a global network connectivity solutions brand. 

O que terás de fazer

- Deployment on computing platforms, ranging from large datacenters to systems with very limited computing power (the product is being developed with a horizontally scalable, event driven, Micro Service architecture); 

- Development of one or more Micro Service components or integration of opensource software that fit product functionalities;

- Actively participating in the complete development cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and test of features shall want to take an active word in team decisions and contribute to the continuously improve architecture, methods and software.

- Executing all the software engineering tasks required to convert requirements into ready-to-deploy functions;

- Code and collaborate in cross-teams code review/pull requests, pair programming, and propose enhancements always considering the cost/benefit relation;

- Contribute to ensure the best result.

O que precisas de garantir

- MSc / BS degrees in Computer Science or related fields;

- Broad knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns and ability to autonomously work;

- Passioned for Cloud Architecture, Open-Source Software, Internet of Things and ready to incorporate those into a recently started product.

- Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading;

- Database concepts;

- Openness to new environment, people, and culture;

- Experience in REST and Event Driven Architecture (e.g. Kafka, NATs);

- Experience in Cloud oriented server Languages (e.g., Go-Lang, Java, Python);

- Experience with NO-SQL (e.g., MongoDB);

- Experience with Container based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes);

- Experience with Cloud Deployments (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure);

- Experience with Network Technologies (e.g., Ethernet, IP, DWDM).
