• Design and implement software architectural principles and frameworks
• Promote said principles and best-practices across delivery teams, company-wide
• Support and mentor software development teams
• Proactively look out to the software industry for state-of-the-art technology
• Implement full stack proof of concept solutions
• Lead and coordinate product/project teams
Profile
Experience with most of the following:
• Microservice architectures
• Distributed systems
• Test driven development / behaviour-driven development
• Web full-stack development
• Distributed backend development
• Continuous integration systems
• Cloud computing
• Open-source software development
• Self-driven, hands-on and pragmatic
• Excellent personal inter-relational capabilities, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
Communication Skills
• Ability to explain different and complex ideas in a compelling way to team members and colleagues from other technology or business areas
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Ability to positively influence and steer other engineers, leading by example
Availability
• Some Travel may be required
• Working hours are 40 hours a week, 8 daily hours, Monday through Friday at the office (Tagus Park, Oeiras, Portugal).
