Kelly IT Resources is recruiting a Site Reliability Engineer (M/F) to directly join our client in Lisbon.Job Summary
As a Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will ensure the customers get the best quality of service.
Identify where to expect and tolerate IT failures from the systems as well as those the clients depend upon.
Work closely with the developers and architects in every part of the products life-cycle to build and run services and systems that respond consistently and reliable.
You will join an experienced team and you will develop your soft and technical skills by taking part in all related activities and training and your contribution will also be part of the solution design and implementation.
Summary of role
• Working with the Developers, QA, Architect and other Reliability Engineering teams to identify and ensure all components match high-availability scenarios and to uphold excellent standards of quality;
• Creating monitoring, alarmist and reporting to ensure all our live products are kept at their highest availability;
• Developing fast analysis skills and methods to quickly debug and mitigate incidents;
• Working with Security, Problem and Incident teams by identifying risks and supporting incident resolution to a closure and prevent repetition;
• Automate everything;
Requirements
• Good communication and people skills, in a technical or non-technical context;
• Knowledge on high availability scenarios;
• Knowledge on CI tools and CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.);
• Good programming or automation skills in any high-level programming language (Java, Java Script, Python, C++, PowerShell etc);
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies;
• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes ;
