The Siemens Mobility and Transport division provides integrated mobility solutions for urban, interurban and logistics transport. For the efficient transportation of passengers and goods, we combine specialization in automation and electrification by road and rail, rail vehicles, turnkey systems, consulting and consumer services.
What are my responsibilities?
• Designs and engineers the software subsystem down to detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer;
• Interlocking, ETCS and CBTS Software configuration and parametrization according to the client requirements, and specifics applications;
• Is responsible for the realization of the specific subsystems with the required functionality and prepares the design documentation;
• Is responsible for the realization of the specific subsystems onsite tests on international projects.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or similar;
• 1 or more years experience within the Railways environment, MT/ML signaling projects;
• Fluent/Native Portuguese Speaker;
• Fluent English skills;
• Previous experience in computer networking design and configuration;
• Experience in application engineering (Software);
• Knowledge and previous experience in Signaling, ERTMS and CBTC systems;
• Availability for domestic and international travels;
• Flexibility to work during trials and commissioning periods when required;
• Experience and basic knowledge of project execution tools, ex. Linux, Python, Java.
