  • Professional Competencies

    - Minimum 6+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
    - Masters degree in Finance/Accounting
    - Experience in leading/managing medium projects/improvement initiatives (Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus)
    - Additional accounting certification is a plus
    - Experience in working with IFRS and local standards is a plus
    - Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage
    - Languages: English (fluent), other is an advantage

responsabilidades

The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership across the global finance community at the company and to harmonise processes and practices across all aspects of accounting for intercompany trading.

In the first 6-12 months the Intercompany Global Process Lead will take an operational and tactical leadership role in the transformation of intercompany processes, working closely with Group Consolidation, Treasury, Tax Team and GBS Record to Report Team, as well as Transformation Project Leads.


On an ongoing basis the Intercompany Global Process Lead will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with global policies and processes, as well as managing the resolution of disputes and supporting country finance teams with resolving compliance issues.

Main duties & responsabilities

- Co-lead the implementation of new Intercompany process across the Group, from performing end to end process analysis, due diligence on existing process documentation, exploring systems and tools potential for automation through change management and hyper care required post implementation
- Act as a first contact point for Intercompany process questions and queries, sharing best practice across the Group
- Provide high-level oversight and monitoring of the integrity of intercompany balances (including trading balances, structure loans and working capital)
- Ensure that centralised intercompany processes (e.g. netting, reconciliation and settlement, intercompany loan accounting) are delivered on time and to the required level of quality
- Oversee adherence to policies and process through the governance and controls framework
- Create and issue Global Ageing Report and take responsibility for follow-up actions
- Provide liquidity forecasting support for intercompany balances
- Drive continuous improvement in intercompany processes
- Assist in the preparation of the Intercompany SOP
- Coordinating global recharge process in conjunction with transfer pricing colleagues
- Developing critical relationships with stakeholders to improve coordination and consistency
- Perform accounting and reporting tasks in line with defined processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions, update process documentations as required
- Execute period end tasks for assigned entity(ies), perform reconciliation and clearing of accounts, report actuals in reporting system on timely manner and meeting quality targets
- Act as mentor for junior team members
