International company, based in Sintra area, is recruiting a full-time buyer. Immediate start.What your main tasks will be:
- Manage strategic sourcing of goods
- Support the definition and implementation of the company’s procurement strategies
- Conduct continuous improvement efforts focused on optimizing the procurement process to ensure long-term, cost-efficient and reliable on-time supply of goods
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Create Purchase Quotes and Purchase orders
- Manage order to providers
- Continuous improvement and update of the supplier’s database
- Forecasting according to events
- Understanding of dangerous goods and shipping
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in Procurement and Purchasing tasks
- Ideally knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or another warehouse software
- Barcode and RFID systems knowledge
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Good tidiness and organisational skills
- Resilience
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Willingness to take on responsibility and initiative
- Willingness to go on national and international travels, including compensated weekend work
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
