Opportunity | Project Manager Lisbon Hybrid Working Model (with a strong on-site presence at the client’s premises) We are looking for a Project Manager to join a team specialized in managing highly complex technology projects, with strong client interaction and involvement in strategic digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end delivery of projects, meeting deadlines, budget, quality standards, and business objectives, while fostering a close and trusted relationship with clients. Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery timelines, quality, budget control, and resource allocation; Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring continuous alignment, close engagement, and client satisfaction; Plan, monitor, and control project execution, including risk management and mitigation of potential deviations; Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration, results-driven delivery, and continuous development; Support functional analysis activities and develop a strong understanding of the client’s business processes; Actively contribute to the overall profitability and success of projects. Mandatory Requirements Higher education degree recognized in Portugal (Bachelor’s degree, ideally a Master’s degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field – mandatory requirement; Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management roles involving external clients and service contracts within the public administration sector; Proven and recognized experience managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closure, with the ability to take responsibility for critical project management decisions; Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken; Availability to work on-site whenever required, particularly for client meetings. Preferred Qualifications Training and/or certification in Project Management (preferred certifications: PMI-PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, ITIL, PM²); Experience in technology environments and software development projects; Knowledge of traditional, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies. Working Conditions Flexible working hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM (8 hours per day); Hybrid working model, with a strong requirement to be present at the client’s premises whenever the project demands it; Opportunity to join a long-term project with a strong focus on professional development; Collaborative environment focused on results and continuous improvement; Outsourcing contract with the possibility of internalization after 1 year; Location: Lisbon.
