responsabilidades chave
LTA (Light Transport Aircraft) & MRTT (Multi Role Tanker Transport) FAM (Fleet Availability Manager) is responsible to ensure the on-time, on-cost and on-quality provision of supplier deliverables necessary for the continued operation of MRTT/M&L in-service fleet, acting organization transversal, and represents the entire direct procurement organization of Airbus Defence and Space in the Fleet Availability forums.Coordinate & Involve all related required departments (Engineering, Program and Engineering Quality, PMO, Configuration Management, IP, Material Management, etc.)
Define mitigations strategies for recurring in-service issues for which suppliers are responsible and launch the relevant steps with the stakeholders;
Generate an efficient reporting structure to ensure proper communication and follow-up;
Perform active obsolescence and sustainment monitoring;
Define a procurement AOG/ missing parts strategy together with the supply chain and contract managers, and drive its implementation;
Supplier development support;
Introduce supply chain process analysis and following improvement measures (ex. stocks, shelf-life, logistics, safety stock, etc.)
Drive the quotation progress of new commercial conditions (exchanges, emergency);
Support the execution of contractual compliance checks according to the original supplier agreements;
Drive the automation of conditions in SAP to close any potential gap between Supply Chain & commodity;
Repair performance analysis and Lead Time improvement;
Support the MRTT / M&L material availability forum to implement incremental optimization;
Support Claim Management committee;
Seek for savings opportunities in the frame of the Airbus DS Momentum initiative.
competências
Fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish would be a plus;Solution and result oriented: troubleshoot, drumbeat, push until solution is implemented;
Strong desire to drive the business and understand and implement customer requirements;
Communicate intelligently across a broad range of senior stakeholders;
Work autonomously and independently, sometimes under ambiguity;
Preferably have program management & procurement experience. Material management experience would be a plus;
Identify and interpret supplier contractual clauses and drive their implementation to the advantage of the business;
Gather inputs from several areas of competence, filter them for relevance and use them to synthesize a plan.
