GenIbet is a cGMP biopharmaceutical CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organization) offering highly specialized microbial, cell culture and viral process development and cGMP manufacturing services to research groups, biotech and pharma companies.GenIbet's core activity is the manufacture and supply of materials for use in early stage drug development, pre-clinical studies and cGMP manufacturing for Phase I and II clinical trials.
Genibet is looking for a BioProcess Support Assistant to perform a set of activities for supporting manufacturing, such as materials and equipment sanitizations, preparation of materials, weighing of raw materials, preparation of solutions and manufacturing areas change-over. Performing other production activated under supervision such as for example capsules overencapsulation, capsule distribution and vials crimping, since specific training has been provided.
Main Responsibilities and Activities:
- Verification of cleaning records; inspection of manufacturing areas after cleaning as part of manufacturing areas change-over procedure;
- Control of laundry: interface with the subcontracting company in all activities regarding clothes cleaning (packing, sending and receiving clothes, distributing the clothes to the areas of use and controlling clothes inventory);
- Preparation of IPA solutions for disinfection of manufacturing and QC areas. Removal and disposal of these solutions before their expiry date;
- Preparation of materials for manufacturing and QC areas cleaning, including control of inventory and sterilization of materials as required;
- Activities supporting manufacturing areas and equipment cleaning after completion of a manufacturing activity, namely decontamination, removal of all materials and documentation and wastes;
- Support manufacturing activities, namely: sanitization, preparation and sterilization of materials;
Internal verification of equipment, namely verification of pumps, agitators and other manufacturing equipment;
- Manufacturing operations, namely weighing, preparation of solutions and other manufacturing operations for which specific training has been provided;
- Other more specific manufacturing operations (under supervision).
Core Competencies/Requirements:
- 12th Grade / Professional Technical Course
- Manufacturing operations background;
- Good team spirit and good communication skills;
- Written and spoken English (mandatory);
- Attention to detail, focus on the ongoing tasks;
- Domain of internal procedures, GMP's;
- Good ability to follow instructions;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office on the user’s optical;
- Immediate availability.
