Opportunity: Motor Claims Handler – Lisbon Are you an experienced Motor Claims professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic insurance environment? This opportunity is for you! We are currently looking for a Motor Claims Handler to join a structured and fast-paced team in Lisbon, where you will play a key role in managing claims and ensuring high-quality service delivery. What You’ll Do: Manage motor insurance claims from first notification through to final settlement; Review policy coverage and ensure compliance with Portuguese insurance regulations; Liaise with repair shops to monitor claim progress and ensure timely resolutions; Communicate with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders; Escalate complex cases and ensure proper resolution; Maintain accurate records in claims systems; Prepare and review claims documentation; Follow up on missing information to ensure full case completion; Track performance and generate reports. What We’re Looking For: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in motor claims handling; Strong knowledge of insurance policies and local practices in Portugal; Experience managing fleet claims for large clients; Ability to coordinate with repair networks; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. What’s On Offer: Annual salary: €18,500 – €19,500; Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (35h/week); Contract: Initial 6 months, with potential extension up to 12 months; 100% on-site role (5 days/week); Opportunity to work in a structured and professional environment; Exposure to complex and large-scale claims operations.
