Randstad Professionals is the brand of Randstad Group focused on the recruitment of Middle & Top Management.Our client is a multinational insurance Company, a worldwide reference in this sector. We are currently searching for a Underwriter (m/f).
Competências:
Bachelor Degree (ideally Actuarial/Statistical);2 - 5 years relevant experience required;
Experience and knowledge of basic actuarial techniques and standards and Life insurance operations;
Prioritise and organise their workload to meet personal and team objectives;
Proficient in English;
MS Office proficiency, with solid Excel skills preferred (Prophet, SAS);
Solid communication skills and ability to interact effectively within and outside the organization;
Highly motivated with a genuine interest in learning about Life Insurance;
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently;
Solid capacity of make operational decisions following procedures defined in simple situations;
Principais responsabilidades
Check the correct calculation of the mathematical reserve in systems and perform manual calculations;Deliver accurate and timely Statutory, Spanish Gaap and US GAAP reserves, to be booked every month;
Check reported figures for Life in P&L;
Prepare all the indicators to monitor Life business performance;
Provide ALM analysis;
Analyse the actual liabilities;
Perform actuarial calculations required for Solvency II;
Maintain clear and concise documentation of methods, controls and activities;
Provide technical assistance and information to other departments related to Life;
Annual assumptions report with the main variables:
