Randstad Professionals is the business line of Randstad Group focused on Middle&Top Management Recruitment.In partnership with a prestigious banking institution we are recruiting a Junior Strategic Analyst. This Analyst will be part of the Strategic analysis team, that is part of the Planning and Capital management area.
The main objective of this team is the analysis of the financial strategy of the institution while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
responsabilidades chave
Perform analysis, including the assessment of internal and external opportunities and sector and company research, to support the CFO in shaping the financial strategic agenda of the bank;Support the Investor Relations team with analysis and presentation materials in the context of regular and ad-hoc investor presentations as well as of a strategic event;
Lead or support the execution of strategic projects as designated by the Executive Board;
Collaborate with other Departments to support the delivery of analysis and insights required for shaping the financial strategic agenda the bank;
Support the assessment of inorganic growth opportunities where required - including in relation to the analysis and valuation of any potential acquisition targets.
competências
Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or other STEM subjects;Minimum of 2 years of experience in FIG / Financial Services (for example in the context of Big 4, Corporate Finance / Transaction Services), consulting, investment banking and/or strategy & corporate development or similar function);
Very strong analytical skills as well as problem structuring and solving skills;
High attention to detail, analytical rigour and diligence;
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work within tight deadlines;
Self starter with a good degree of proactivity and taking ownership;
Willingness to go the extra mile;
Ability to communicate in a succinct and efficient way;
Fully fluent in Portuguese and English.
Ability to manage workstreams/tasks with a good degree of autonomy while knowing when to ask for senior input when required;
Ability to liaise with colleagues from different parts of the bank to perform tasks at hand as required.
