Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in
standardization, harmonization, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working/ processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. responsabilidades chave

Your role:
? Improvement of purchasing and supply chain performance (e.g. through sourcing
assessments, lean assessments, design-to-cost approach and process transformation);
? Coordinating and controlling internal and external resources;
? Ensuring compliance with cost, time and quality requirements including budget responsibility for responsible projects;
? Management of design-to-cost projects with Airbus Aerostructures suppliers;
? Identification of (cost) optimization potentials at suppliers;
? Representation of the cost engineering point of view and support/advice for strategic buyers in negotiations with suppliers, in particular through technical expertise;
? Carrying out shop floor assessments at suppliers, e.g. according to the lean approach;
? Initiation and follow-up of measures and their effectiveness at the supplier's site;
? Analysis of market data and suppliers along the supply chain and further development of the underlying detailed cost structures;
? Business intelligence and scouting of market trends to represent the cost & value engineering point of view in determining the purchasing strategy with regard to innovative technologies, market development;
? Regular status updates and presentation of project results to our management.

competências

Diploma/Masters degree in engineering, materials science, technical business administration, economics or a comparable qualification acquired in another way;
Experience in the areas of strategic sourcing, design to cost / design to value, lean
management and cost calculation desirable;
Knowledge in the field of manufacturing metallic materials and/or composites;
Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing processes;
Knowledge and experience in project management;
Ability to analyze and process technical information;
Strong analytical skills and structured way of working;
Confident communication skills and assertiveness;
Excellent strong presentation skills;
Business fluent in English, German desirable;
Experience in MS Office, Google Suite, SAP, Business Warehouse, PLM, Catia
desirable, Facton.
