Our Client is an Organization that belongs to an International Group and adds value to the clients through publishing, information and providing services in the consumer field and is reinforcing its group structure with an IT security Officer.


This professional will be responsible for:

• Managing security measures for information technology system within the company IT landscape
• Operating regular inspections of systems and network processes for security updates
• Conducting audit process for initiating security and safety measures and strategies
• Customizing access to information per rules and necessity
• Maintaining standard information security policy, procedure, services and security incident response planning;
• Developing and designing security devices and software to ensure the safety of clients’ or internal products and information
• Validate solutions and provider proposal for compliancy on IT security rules and practices.
• Conducting employee security awareness training
• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested;
• Review investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities;
• Maintain a current understanding the IT threat landscape for the industry;
• Constantly update the cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information;
• Communicate best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT.
• Become the main contact of the DSO for IT security topics

Competências:

University degree
Wide technical knowledge and interest in IT including security, data privacy and compliance
IP Connectivity, routing, managing firewall rules knowledge
Knowledge of security frameworks.
Certification is an asset
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Proactivity and convincing skills: ability to clearly and transparently explain and justify your decisions
Communicate clearly and appropriately - think from the added value for the business and communicate smoothly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Can work independently and have the necessary problem solving skills
Eager to learn - follow trends in the market and consider them when working out a security architecture
Ability to work and interact effectively in a multi-cultural team.
Spoken and written technical English is mandatory.
