Information System Business Analyst - Carcavelos

We are recruiting for the IT Management of an internationally renowned entity in the Education sector.

O que terás de fazer

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives related to information systems and technology solutions;

- Conduct a thorough analysis of current business processes and systems, identifying areas for digitalization and automation;

- Gather and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for IT projects and initiatives;

- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation, process improvements, and organizational growth.

- Work closely with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the accurate implementation of solutions.

- Collaborate with project managers to create project plans, define project scope, and estimate project timelines, identify potential risks and issues, and propose effective solutions to keep projects on track.

- Conduct system testing and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered solutions.

O que precisas de garantir

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent experience;

- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in information systems analysis;

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex business processes and systems;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders both in English and Portuguese;

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, either waterfall or agile methodologies;

- Familiarity with business analysis tools, such as data modeling, process mapping, and workflow analysis.- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP), BPMN or related certifications is a plus.
