Kelly Services is currently recruiting an Electrical Project Manager (M/F), to join operating company Smart Infrastructure of Siemens, located in Alfragide.
Smart Infrastructure intelligently connects energy systems, buildings and industries to adapt and evolve the way we live and work. They work together with customers and partners to create an ecosystem that intuitively responds to the needs of people and helps customers to user resources in a more effective manner. From intelligent grid control and electrification to smart storage solutions, from building automation and control systems to switches, valves and sensors.
What are my responsibilities?
• Apply skills to resolve complex problems so we ensure successful delivery of projects or programs;
• Develop and maintain project/program plan and schedule that contain products from the Low Voltage & Products (LP) portfolio and Medium Voltage Switchboards (AIS and GIS);
• Demonstrate and apply at a proficient level: project management concepts, techniques and skills;
• Demonstrate and apply at a proficient level: application and concepts of Low/Medium Voltage Distribution Products;
• Coordinate deliverables with internal and external stakeholders to meet or exceed contract scope and customer expectations;
• Work closely with Siemens businesses within SI operating company to provide total customer solution of Siemens products and services per customer specifications;
• Industry Knowledge: Understands our Channels of Distribution, Direct and Indirect, and is aware of the risk of litigation, makes key managers aware of and works to mitigate exposure from affiliates, distribution, Joint Ventures, EPC, and General Contractors;
• Accountability & Responsibility for Results: Understand the difference between fault and responsibility throughout the life of the project and accept ultimate accountability for project results;
• Responsible for all project or program financial reconciliations;
• Complies with Siemens policies and procedures;
• Tracks all project related documentation (schedule, change orders, punch-list, etc.).
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar;
• Fluent or Native Portuguese Speaker;
• Fluent English skills and other language are plus;
• 3 or more years experience commensurate with position profile, including direct industry experience;
• Desirable customer facing project manager for projects/programs containing Low and Medium Voltage Power Distribution products (LVS, Transformer, BusBar, AIS, others);
• Achievement & Results Orientation;
• To be able to identify complex problems, analyze options, and reach positive, effective, and practical solutions;
• Customer Service Orientation: Works well with Internal and External customers utilizing strong Interpersonal and Communication skills;
• Previous experience in leading teams and setting expectations to deliver required results;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills;
• Availability for domestic and international travels.
