RESPONSABILITIES:
o Support a Global distributed Platform Evolution (Scalability, HA, Deployment, Performance);
o Architect, build and implement Infrastructure services to enable our distributed Platform growth;
o Build and customize Tools to speed up and simplify daily operations for Engineers;
o Bring Ideas to life to scale our Platform to the next level of Modularity & Shareability;
o Collaborate with other Engineers to advocate sensible, scalable, systems design;
o Automate as much as humanly possible and always configure as Code;
o Provide Best Practices and share our Knowledge with the rest of the Teams;
o Work closely with teams and support our distributed Application groups around the world.
REQUIREMENTS:
o 3+ years of relevant work experience;
o Experience building and scaling High-Traffic Web Applications (SQL/NoSQL/CDN/DNS);
o Understanding of scalable cloud-based solutions such as AWS;
o Proficiency on Configuration Management Frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible;
o Solid background on Linux/Unix and Networking Systems;
o Proficiency in at least one high-level language: Python, Java, Go or Ruby;
o Very Good verbal and written English.
SOFT SKILLS:
o Excellent Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Communication skills.
