responsabilidades chave

• Support Portugal’s Head of Compliance on conducting the operation’s compliance program;
• Ensure all aspects of the business comply with regulatory requirements and with applicable laws and regulations in Portugal, Europe and the United States;
• Support operation/business with trade compliance issues on day-to-day basis;
• Follow up on compliance training and communications for all employees, commensurate with their roles and responsibilities;
• Support compliance risk assessment and collaborate on implementation of effective mitigation strategies to reduce compliance risks;
• Monitor regulation and interpreting regulatory requirements and procedures.

competências

• Legal degree is required;
• Compliance background (preferential);
• At least 1 year relevant experience preferably in Insurance;
• Analysis skills, accuracy, critical thinking and working responsibly are required;
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and proactively;
• Self-motivated, able to plan and prioritize own workload in order to achieve deadlines;
• Evaluate situations using multiple sources of information;
• Ability to balance multiple projects/tasks to ensure timely delivery of accurate results;
• Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills;
• Negotiation and relationship building skills with and ability to work with different hierarchical levels in the Company;
• Acts with integrity, confidence and accountability at all times.
