Randstad Professionals is the brand of Randstad Group focused on the recruitment of Middle & Top Management.Our client is a multinational insurance Company, a worldwide reference in this sector. We are currently searching for a Cloud Architect (m/f).
Competências:
Profile:AWS Architecture Certification preferred;
±10 years demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in engineering complex, high-quality cloud architectures and detailed designs;
Agile software development expert;
Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment with some knowledge across Azure;
Depth and hands-on experience designing and delivering applications based on AWS using AWS services such as EC2, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, AWS Lambda etc;
Depth and hands-on experience devising Architecture best practices, deliverables, drawings and frameworks;
Experience designing and implementing systems using Containers such as Docker or Kubernetes;
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability;
Hands on programming skills in any of the following: Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Scala;
Decision maker in build vs buy scenarios, and how to break down the pros and cons both;
You have made the leap of guiding application teams to provide insights and actions through machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques;
Demonstrated ability to influence others, including Senior Management as well as strong written and verbal communication skills required;
Excellent written and oral communication skills required to convey audit results to both senior management and direct audit clients;
Must have effective analytical, problem solving, and research skills;
Must be proficient in English, with additional language skills (especially Spanish or Portuguese) a significant plus;
Experience with multiple cultures and working with remote teams are preferred;
Insurance industry experience is a plus.
Principais responsabilidades
Responsibilities:• Provide the technical vision to architect innovative, scalable, highly available application solutions on
AWS cloud platform;
• Cloud Solution Architect; both advisory and hands-on application architecture, design and delivery;
• Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud;
• Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment to enable scaling and software delivery performance;
• Propose high level IT architecture design in response to business strategy;
• Working as a technical leader alongside business, development and infrastructure teams;
• Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming;
• Advising and implementing cloud best practices;
• Conduct proofs of concept or evaluations on new software or infrastructure;
• Partner with peer architects, design and cloud engineering and operation teams;
• Being involved at a strategic level with exposure to stake holders at the most senior level;
• Help establish a clear, consistent technology vision through collaboration, influence, and enablement;
• Ensures system, technical and product architectures are aligned with business objectives;
• Anticipates and manages technology evolution and relates it to business solutions. Sets direction based on alignment to business and overall technology standards;
• Stay informed on initiatives across the industry and the enterprise to help product owners and IT leadership effectively prioritize;
• Tailor communication and convey complex ideas in a concise manner to a diverse set of audiences and venues;
• Craft guidance and support that helps delivery teams identify quality risk factors around security and compliance;
• Identify and assess the organizational impact of enterprise Cloud Architecture and standards, including
change in skills, processes and structures;
• Promote the company's technology brand through creative thinking, and constantly raising the bar of
what's possible.
