Our client is a leading company in design, supply and installation of renewable energy systems (solar) and is looking for one CAD Designer to join their existing Engineering team.CAD Designer - Renewable Energy (m/f)

Main responsibilities will be:
- Designing solar PV systems of variable size and both ground and roof mounted in line with international standards / codes of practice and company guidelines;
- Maintain a rigorous and transparent document control process;
- Ensure 100% accuracy in drawings and version control;
- Survey documents under instruction from the Engineer, into line diagrams, site layout and others duties;
- Ensure all sites are designed in such a way as to meet all relevant standards, codes of practice and legislation, adherence to Company policy and respect the safety and welfare of other employees, subcontractors and the general public;
- Provide written and verbal reports regularly.
Profile:
- Degree (or equivalent) educated considered an asset;
- Minimum of 2 years Experience;
- Understanding of construction methods and processes;
- Good grasp of mechanical, civil & electrical engineering concepts and calculations;
- Ability to produce plan’s and technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar programmes;
- Expert in AutoDesk’s AutoCAD 2D and 3D;
- Training in the use of CAD systems, AutoCAD and Sketch-up in particular;
- Advanced Excel (data manipulation) and Word skills;
- Excellent communication skills in both written & oral, face to face and telephone;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Assertive communicator in order to convey precise details of the design to a wide range of different audiences;
- Strong analytical, planning & organisational skills;
- Ability to prioritize in a continually changing environment;
- High attention to detail needed;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language experience is required);
- Ability and willingness to travel;
- Valid driver's license.
