Randstad Professionals is the brand of Randstad Group focused on the recruitment of Middle & Top Management.Our client is an IT startup who is hiring a Backend Software Engineer - Node.js (m/f).
Competências:
At a minimum, you must have experience withHave a Degree in Computer Science or Informatics Engineering or equivalent experience;
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience (excluding university experience)
Great knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript on the backend (Node.js);
Feel comfortable with protocols and architectural patterns like HTTP, REST and/or GraphQL;
Create testable code and making testing a priority;
Have experience with Git and CI/CD;
Be self-disciplined, dedicated, problem solver;
Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
You would stand out if you have experience with:
Node.js and Express, Sails frameworks;
Have experience with Cloud services (AWS is prefered);
Have experience with Linux administration as a plus;
Modern JS frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
Principais responsabilidades
Responsibilities:You will be an important part of our development team in Lisbon. You are responsible for high coding standards, great team work and play a relevant role in the strategy and vision of the technology that fuels our product, and so we expect from you:
? Take an active part in web application development. This includes not only writing code, but also helping guide the direction of an application with feature and technology suggestions/discussions;
? Maintain and enhance existing web applications. The ability to diagnose and solve issues is critical;
? Possess excellent communication skills to clearly express and explain your ideas.
