COMPANY

Multinational organization with a strong global presence, focused on innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence, is looking to strengthen its finance team by recruiting an Audit and Accounting Specialist. This role will play a key part in governing accounting processes and financial reporting within a dynamic and highly international environment.

CANDIDATE

The professional to be recruited will be responsible for:

  • Owning the governance of the monthly financial close process, including defining the close calendar, requirements, and coordinating accounting inputs;
  • Reviewing and validating deliverables produced by the accounting provider, ensuring quality, completeness, and timeliness (including reconciliations);
  • Ensuring accurate validation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reporting packs, challenging variances and maintaining full audit traceability;
  • Acting as owner of non-routine and complex accounting topics (e.g., M&A, provisions, intercompany, fixed assets, cut-off), defining accounting treatment and validating execution;
  • Serving as the key interface between HQ, local stakeholders, and service providers, ensuring alignment and managing escalations;
  • Ensuring correct application of accounting standards and local requirements, maintaining audit-ready documentation (position papers, memos, and supporting evidence);
  • Coordinating audit processes, managing audit requests, ensuring timely provision of evidence, and tracking remediation actions to closure;
  • Driving standardization, automation, and digitalization of finance processes using tools such as Power BI, Excel (advanced), and KNIME;
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce manual effort, mitigate risk, and increase efficiency.
PROFILE
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent;
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in end to end accounting, general ledger or audit with strong analytical exposure;
  • Experience in audit firms, shared service centers, or multinational environments (preferred);
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI (or equivalent ERP systems);
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data analytics tools (Power BI, Power Query, KNIME, or similar);
  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
