responsabilidades chave
The roleReview, analyse and recommend how to correctly design, develop and apply accessibility rules, according to WCAG rules and European Acessibility act guidelines.
Prepare and document guideline documents, so that the project teams can correctly implement good accessibility practices.
Act as a gatekeeper of accessibility for our web platform.
Organize team meetings to review work and to discuss specific topics on accessibility.
Ensure to follow all work being carried out, from design to implementation.
Work closely with Designers, POs and Development team , making sure these teams get the right information so that they can implement accessibility.
We value
Mobile app and responsive design work experience
Strong knowledge of accessibility rules
Good communication skills
History of building products in complex systems
Experience working alongside User Experience teams, Project and Development teams to build products
Ability to work in cross-functional, remote teams
Good written and spoken English
competências
5+ years of experience as an Accessibility ExpertAcademic Background in Anthropology, Ergonomic, Human-Computer interaction Computer Science, Engineering or similar
Certification as a professional of accessibility (Mandatory)
Fluent in English and portuguese
Must have knowledge in
European accessibility act
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Challenges users face if a platform is not well structured and thought for acessibility
Working as an accessibility expert
Working as a focal point for acessibility matters
