• Undertake laboratory development work as it relates to specific customer projects;
• Undertake customer site visits to liaise with customer's technical staff on technical related matters as they pertain to the introduction of the client products;
• Accompany on-site production trials as they relate to the introduction of clays and kaolin body material as well as glazes;
• Provide technical justifications (benefits and features) of materials being introduced to support to the close the deal;
• Liaise with the Applied Development Laboratories regarding necessary new product development and/or specific raw material issues;
• Liaise with the Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager in connection with raw material performance and technology trends likely to impact client business;
• Participate, as required, in public relations activities such as technical paper presentations, customer visits, and exhibitions;

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Technical training in the sanitaryware production environment;
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory and ceramic production and/or production development;
• Proficiency in English in English essential, and other languages (preferred);
• Understanding Ceramic raw materials & behavior in ceramic bodies;
• Understanding Ceramic Production processes;
• Systematic & Analytical Thinking;
• Self-Management, Team Working, and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem Solving and Goal Oriented skills;
