About the Company Continental Medical Supplies is an importer and distributor of pharmaceutical and medical devices, established in 2012, with Portuguese management. The company operates primarily in South Sudan. For more information: www.continentalmed.com Position Overview We are seeking a highly capable Executive Associate to act as the right-hand to the Company Director. This is not a traditional function-specific role: the selected candidate will support the Director across Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Sales, Strategy, and Corporate Administration. The Director will delegate assignments in any business area, and the Executive Associate must demonstrate intellectual versatility, strong analytical capacity, discretion, and execution discipline. This role requires availability to travel to South Sudan 3-4 times per year (3-4 weeks each time). All the travel expenses will be covered by the company. Position Details Position: Executive Associate Type: Full-time (Remote – Work From Home) Travel Requirement: 2 to 3 times per year, totaling 2–3 months in Juba, South Sudan. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, aligned with South Sudan business hours Paid Leave: 21 working days per year Key Responsibilities The role includes, but is not limited to: Strategic & Executive Support - Act as direct support to the Director in decision-making processes - Prepare executive briefings, reports, and analytical summaries - Follow up on implementation of strategic initiatives - Manage confidential information with absolute discretion Finance & Control - Financial analysis and reporting - Cash flow monitoring and payment handling - Identify inefficiencies, financial risks and propose corrective actions Operations & Supply Chain - Implement processes that support an improved supply chain - Train and support other staff members IT & Systems - Assist in implementation and improvement of ERP/CRM systems - Work with digital automation tools and data systems - Improve internal reporting dashboards Sales & Commercial Support - Analyze sales performance metrics - Prepare commercial proposals and cost analyses - Monitor pricing strategies and margin controls Requirements Education (Mandatory) - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Management from a recognized institution. Experience - Minimum 2 years of professional experience - Experience in consulting, finance, corporate management, or high-performance environments is highly valued Technical Competencies - Strong analytical and structured thinking - High intellectual capacity with the ability to learn quickly - Technologically proficiency - Strong Excel and financial modelling skills - Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory) - Proactive, execution-driven, and detail-oriented Leadership & Behavioral Attributes - We are looking for someone who: - Thinks like an entrepreneur - Is comfortable with ambiguity and complexity - Can operate across multiple disciplines - Has strong loyalty and long-term commitment mindset - Wants to grow into senior leadership responsibilities - Availability to travel to South Sudan 3-4 times per year Career Growth This position offers direct exposure to executive-level decision making and international business operations.
