Our client is an American multinational technology company, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and will rollout a mapping project in Europe. For this project we are searching for:
 
MAPPING DRIVER
We are looking for drivers to be involved in one of the most exciting technology projects currently in Europe, which will enable people, enterprises and cities to harness the power of location.
 
We are looking for people who really enjoy driving, as our Collection Drivers can cover a lot of miles in their work. You will be responsible for driving new production collection systems, and be available to be part of the project over the next few months. This will involve regular travel to allow data to be collected and you’ll also be working with system logs and daily detailed reports of all your collection drives.  
 
You will need to be a confident and experienced driver, happy with long distance driving and time away from home too. That does of course mean you get to see the world on your travels! Also, if you studied electronics, hardware or software – it is a big plus, but not essential, as long as you are interested in and have some working knowledge of computers and smart technologies. 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will work in a team of 2 and are given the task of driving public streets and areas. You will asked to map a given area including all public streets, highways, and off and on ramps. You will drive from town to town and stay in hotels.
 
REQUIREMENTS
-       Experience in a previous driving job is preferred
-       Be comfortable with technology
-       Have a number of years driving experience
-       Ability to drive an automatic vehicle
-       Have a valid driving license
-       Fluent in English, written and verbal
-       Be comfortable interacting with the public
-       Have excellent communication, be reliable and trustworthy
-       Be able to work 5 days a week and be away from home within Europe for a couple of months (every 3 months you are allowed to travel back home for a couple of days)
