Randstad Professional is recruiting for a client that acts in the metallurgical industry and wants to reinforce its structure with a System Engineer (m/f).Competências:
The main requirements are the following:- At least 5 years experience in a similar position;
- Hands on technical experience in administration and support of Windows Server, Active Directory and VMWare systems;
- Understanding of SAN and NAS storage systems (Netapp);
- Knowledge of IT systems environments i.e. operating systems, networking, applications, databases and storage;
- Working knowledge of scripting (Powershell);
- Understanding of the ITIL processes;
- Ability to organize tasks and cooperate with team members from other countries and timezones;
- Very good command of English (both written and spoken).
Principais responsabilidades
This role includes the following tasks:- Working as a key player in a dynamic and international team ensuring the security and integrity of the company's systems and its customer's data;
- Maintaining the availability of IT systems and services for international company with more than 50 locations world-wide including 3 data centers;
- Administration, configuration and troubleshooting of computing systems based on Microsoft Windows server and VMware technologies;
- Availability and Capacity Management of Netapp storage devices;
- 2nd Level support solving current incidents, fulfilling requests and implementing changes related to Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualization, backup and storage management while adhering to ITIL methodology;
- Ensuring system recoverability by actively monitoring and maintaining daily backup processes;
- Pro-actively monitoring and improving IT systems in order to provide optimal performance;
- Participate in projects related to designs, upgrades, optimization and migrations of business acquisitions;
- Communicating, working with and coordinating actions with third-parties/external consultant.
