Randstad Professionals is recruiting a Test Automation, for direct integration in a multinational company, with offices located in the North of Aveiro.Hybrid work (3 remote days and 2 office days each week).
This profissional will be testing software to detect defects with automation; apply clean code when producing code; work in Agile teams. The scope of the Software-Under-Test is the ‘End-2-End’ system consisting out of backend software running in the Cloud connected to a system.
responsabilidades chave
Define and set-up test framework to support automatic testing of the Software Under Test (SUT)Addressing tests of Q2, Q3 and Q4 in the Agile Testing Quadrants
Decide on which tests to automate
Determine which tests to execute when, e.g. daily or per release
Ensure smooth operation of testing like e.g. daily testing, exploratory testing and release testing
Reports test results
Submitting defects of failing test cases
Work according to Agile principles
competências
Academic background in Information Technologies or similar;More than 3 years of professional experience in Test Automation.
Main experience required:
Experience in writing black box functional test cases;
Experience in programming in C#;
Experience in using happy flows, alternative flows and sad flows;
Experience in using test tools (such as JMeter, Azure Chaos Studio);
Experience in functional testing and none-functional testing (such as ility Testing);
Experience in configuration management tools (such as Subversion, Git).
Necessary know how / skills:
Knowledge of test technologies (such as boundary testing and equivalence partitioning);
Knowledge of main programming/scripting languages (such as C#, Java, Python);
Familiar with the Agile Testing Quadrants;
Intelligent, abstract, analytical and creative thinker;
Has a strong drive to produce clean code;
Good English communication skills (intermediate level is a mandatory requirement).
