Our client company is recruiting for Source & Procurement Head (M/F)
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description:
• Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of sourcing;
• Strategic and results-driven leader;
• Understanding of the Retail Home Furnishings industry;
• Initiatives that contribute to revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion;
• Responsible for building and nurturing relationships with suppliers, identifying opportunities for partnership and collaboration;
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field in Home Furnishings industry, MBA or relevant certification is a plus;
• At least 10 years of proven experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably within the furniture retail industry;
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools;
• Leadership and team management skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment:
• Strong understanding of retail market dynamics and trends withing home furnishings industry;
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills;
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans;
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions;
• Great ability to integrate and work with internal teams and partners of different nationalities, being sensitive to different working methods;
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
