Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager will have the business acumen to identify the vital few topics that are critical to improve the service level to our customers, while enhancing our bottom line performance.

The candidate will be capable to engage with all levels of the organisation, showing the agility to have a “can do mentality” that energises our core team in the shop floor to strive for productivity, while having the strategic mindset to laser focus on the matters that truly matter for the long term value creation

responsabilidades chave

Coordinate cross-functionally with all of supply chain, Supply Chain team and all involved stakeholders, to ensure that the supply chain commitments are met, help make lasting improvements to their performance, realize their most important goals and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed;
The candidate will work with many experts across company’s sites and functions;
The candidate shall manage projects related to production planning, CSD & Logistics;
Over the course of each project, the candidate will gather and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and implement recommendations;
Cross coordination of projects among all company’s sites in Portugal, Spain and Chile;
Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them;
Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and mobilize effectively people and the organization to act;
Establish trust-based relationships with customers to better serve the organization;

competências

Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods;
Capability to drive an independent functional project in the context of a broader corporate strategy and/or continuous improvement roadmap;
Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations;
Proven experience using MS Office and various MRP/ERP systems (Preferred SAP 4HANA);
Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis;
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English, Spanish & Portuguese;
Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner;
Availability to travel;
Proven track record of at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics/CSD or Operations/Manufacturing;
Master in Engineering;
Preferred education in Supply Chain (e.g. APICS) and/or Continuous Improvement;
