We have an opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Cookie Club Porto.Main Responsibilities
The main responsibility will be to work alongside the Store Manager (and deputise for them in their absence) to make sure that the store is run effectively day-to-day and to be a brand ambassador.
To ensure the store is opened and closed, adhering to all Cookie Club standards, policies and procedures, ensuring that all brand standards are delivered throughout the shift to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
About you
We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved. This is a great opportunity to join, learn and grow with an ambitious business, to test new ideas and be given responsibility.
Ideally, you should have previous experience in a similar environment or role and have some barista experience. It is most important that you have transferable skills – leadership, communication, problem-solving and organisational.
You will be ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business and maximise your performance as well as the teams. We want someone who will lead by example, set high standards and provide our customers with great service.
Basic Requirements
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Ability to work 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday)
- Barista experience preferable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally has worked in a food or café environment
- Previous experience in a management/team leader type role is preferable
- Sales and/or front of house experience is important
- Willing to deliver outstanding service

- Lives within a reasonable commute of the Cookie Club Porto store
